TIPS FOR HEALTHY CACTI & SUCCULENTS
- Indoor potted cacti & succulents prefer a high light area, but not direct sunlight. They should also be protected from extremes of hot & cold.
- Remember Cacti & Succulents are like living sponges, they take what they need from rainfall or hand watering, and the excess must be able to drain away quickly. Persistently wet potting mix will quickly spell a sad death, and stems will rot! So it pays to check moisture levels by inserting your finger into the top few centimeters of the mix, and cut back watering severely in winter.
- For the time-poor plant owner - just push, feed & forget with Yates Thrive Plant Food Spikes for Cacti & Succulents. Super simple to use, just insert the spikes into the potting mix after watering and the 'hidden' spikes slowly release plant food for up to 2 months
