Blueberry Tasty Blue™ has rounded deep blue juicy berries. In spring ‘Lily of the Valley’ like pink tinged white flowers appear on the plant. In Autumn/Winter Blueberry Tasty Blue has an amazing display of bronze tonings. Blueberry Tasty Blue fruits on second year wood and grows to a size of 1.5 - 2m.
Pollination is mostly by bumble bees or honey bees, some species are self-fertile, cross pollination will improve fruit size and yield. Cross pollinate with Blue Magic or Blue Dawn.
Harvest - December to February. To ensure the best flavour leave fruit on bush for 7-10 days after turning blue.
