This unique single species genus from Japan is an extremely graceful tree with dainty pendulous branches. The foliage emerges with a soft red tinge in the spring eventually turning dark green. In autumn you are rewarded with traditional autumn tones. The leaves emit an aroma of caramelised sugar. Weeping.
