Hollyhock Pink Powderpuff is a romantic cottage garden starlet produces large powder puff blooms in pastel peach tones, with a delicate raspberry tint. A first year flowering strain with fully double flowers, it makes a tall and stately tower of blooms at the back of a border planting.
Sow into trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down, water gently and keep moist through germination period. Transplant when large enough to handle. Choose a sunny, sheltered position with well-drained soil. Water regularly at base of plant to avoid fungal diseases. Protect against rust, particularly in humid Summer regions.
