Feijoa Den's Choice produces medium to large sized fruit oval in shape with an attractive, smooth, light green skin and a strong aromatic flavour with good sugar-acid balance.
Growing to a size roughly 4m x 4m, Feijoa Den's Choice is a medium vigour tree that is moderately compact and easy to manage.
Although classed as self-infertile, pollination is by larger birds such as Thrushes and Black Birds. These birds will travel some distance for their food and therefore pollination in the home garden is generally not an issue with one plant. Planting two different varieties will give you a longer season of delicious fruit.
Harvest - Early season - April to May.
