Silverbeet Perpetual Green is an easy-to-grow, spinach-like silverbeet, with a mild flavour, smooth leaves and slim, green stalks. It provides a prolific harvest of succulent leaves for more than a year and resists bolting to seed.
Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Cover lightly, firm down and keep moist. Transplant or thin out when about 6-8cm high. Choose a Sunny, well-drained position. Mulch around plants in hot weather. Great companion plant for beets, marjoram and onion. Harvest by pulling (rather than cutting) stems, starting with the outside leaves.
Germination 10 - 14 days | Maturity 7 - 8 weeks
