Feijoa Antoinette produces heavy crops of medium to large fruit with semi-smooth green skin. Sweet juicy mild aromatic flavour with flesh that is smooth and soft.
Feijoa Antoinette is a small to medium tree that is semi upright. Covers well in flowers. Not overly vigorous but a strong grower, reaching a height and width of around 4m.
Although classed as self-infertile, pollination is by larger birds such as Thrushes and Black Birds. These birds will travel some distance for their food and therefore pollination in the home garden is generally not an issue with one plant. Planting two different varieties will give you a longer season of delicious fruit.
Feijoa Antoinette has an early season harvest, when fruit changes colour and drops when touched.
