Mr Fothergill's Dahlia Pompom features a high percentage of colourful ‘Honeycomb’ flowers, a favourite cut flower. Dahlia Pompom are tall plants (90cm) that are excellent for borders, providing a lasting colour display through Summer and into Autumn.
Sow 5mm deep in trays of seed raising mix or direct in flowering position and keep moist. Transplant into the garden when large enough to handle. Use garden mulch to keep roots cool in warm weather and keep weeds down. Feed with liquid fertiliser when buds appear. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Plant in spring and summer.
