Marigold Kees' Orange is possibly the brightest of all orange marigolds, tall and bushy, perfect for garden displays. Free flowering over a long season and is a beneficial companion to vegetables, growing to a height of 60cm.
Sow 5mm deep in trays of seed raising mix or direct in flowering position and keep moist. Transplant into the garden when large enough to handle, spacing plants 30cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. Use garden mulch to keep roots cool in warm weather and suppress weeds. Feed with liquid fertiliser when buds appear. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Plant in early spring to summer.
