In the same family as the Swan Plant, Asclepias Silky Mix is also known as Tropical Milkweed. An attractive source of food for monarch butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, it features gorgeous deep red and gold coloured blooms. Sow direct where they are to grow. Find a sunny spot to scatter seed thinly, cover with Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix, firm down and water gently. Smaller plants can be completely eaten by Monarch Butterfly caterpillars. Remove excess eggs to prevent this. Grow a number of plants to ensure lots of butterflies.
