Looking for a fun and inexpensive Christmas DIY activity to keep the kids busy? We’ve got you covered with our Christmas-themed leaf painting.
You will need:
- Paint
- Paint brushes
- Cup of water
- Dried leaves
- Newspaper
Step 1
Have a search around outside for some nice dry leaves to paint. These leaves can be any shape and size, but they must be dry so that the faces won’t shrivel. Larger-sized leaves will make painting easier for the little ones.
Step 2
Cover your working space with newspaper to avoid the fun of the activity leaving its mark behind!
Step 3
Dip your paint brushes in water and loosen the bristles ready for painting.
Step 4
Mix some paint together and get creative with your kids!
NOTE: Once dry your Christmas leaves can be used as decorations on the Christmas tree, in the kid’s bedrooms, or as outside decorations.
