How to use a Tui Potato Grow Bag

Potatoes are a staple food loved by many. But what more rewarding than growing them from your own garden, they will taste better and fresher! 

Tui Potato Grow Bag is a portable growing bag that is simple and easy to use. The bag has an easy access window for harvesting, sturdy handles and reinforced drainage holes. Not only can you grow Potatoes in the grow bag, but it is also ideal for carrots and onions too. 

What you will need: 

- Tui Potato Grow Bag 

- Seed Potato

- Tui Vegetable Mix 40L

- Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic

How to assemble: 

Expand the grow bag and make sure it is standing upright. Choose a seed Potato variety that you would like to grow. This can be based on your taste and cooking preferences. Add 10cm layer of Tui Vegetable Mix to the base of the bag. Remember a 40L bag of Vegetable mix will be used for one growing bag. Place approximately 3-5 sprouted seed Potatoes in the bag with the sprouts facing upwards. Cover seed potatoes with a 5cm layer of Tui Vegetable Mix and gently pat down. 

After planting care: 

Water your Potatoes with Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic and as your Potatoes keep growing, keep fulling up the Tui Vegetable Mix to the top. Water and feed your Potatoes regularly. When the tops die back your Potatoes are ready to harvest. Open the easy access window and enjoy your bumper crop!
